Things were added. We are less than a week and a half away from AEW All Out, one of the company’s four major pay per views over the course of the year. That means the company is going to need to pour in a lot of effort to make the show work as well as possible, including putting on several top matches. They covered quite a bit of that this week on television.

AEW added five matches to the All Out card this week on Dynamite. The following matches were officially added to the card:

  • Interim Women’s Title: Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Toni Storm
  • Tag Team Titles: Swerve Strickland/Keith Lee(c) vs. The Acclaimed
  • Chris Jericho vs. Bryan Danielson
  • Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Ricky Starks
  • Christian Cage vs. Jungle Boy

This is in addition to the Motor City Machine Guns taking the places of Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh in a six man tag against Wardlow and FTR. There is no word on how many more matches could be added to the card. All Out takes place on September 4.

Opinion: That is certainly a busy night and most of the pay per view seems to be set. I’m not sure what else there is to add outside of a main event but AEW does have a tendency to add in a bunch of stuff at the drop of a hat. That might be the case over the next week or so, but hopefully the company doesn’t add so much that the show drags on far longer than it needs to.
