According to Fightful Select, AEW’s impending announcement of a Saturday show is possibly designed to be a “soft roster split”, with traction towards the move growing in Warner Brothers Discovery. There is no word on when the show will debut or if such a split, even a soft one, will officially be happening.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that AEW could use, but at the same time, they have kind of already done this with Ring Of Honor. Ring Of Honor features several regular AEW names but they still appear on AEW TV at the same time. I’m not sure how needed something like this is as AEW already does quite a few things, though I can see why there would be interest in doing such a thing.
