Farewell. There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster, from the top of the main event scene to the newcomers trying to make their way into the top levels. Those are the stars you occasionally see getting to make some interesting moves, some of which are less than positive. Earlier this week, it was announced that former NXT Tag Team Champion Duke Hudson has been released from the company. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that Hudson, 34 years old, was released from the company after six yeas in developmental because WWE did not see him as a main roster star. There is no word on when or where Hudson will be wrestling next.
Leave the memories alone. Check out what Hudson did in NXT:
Opinion: This is something that makes sense, as Hudson really has been around for a long time and has not done much more than be a tag team star in NXT. There are only so many things that Hudson can do and his brief time on the main roster, albeit during the pandemic, only got him so far. For now though, there is a chance that he could wind up elsewhere, but I’m not sure where that is going to be.
What do you think of Hudson’s time in NXT? Where would you like to see him go next? Let us know in the comments below.
