Back at the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins attacked Roman Reigns after the two were eliminated, giving Reigns two Stomps onto the ring steps. On the ensuing Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Reigns would be out of action for the time being. According to Mike Johnson on PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, it may be a way to write Reigns off of WWE TV for the short term. This is seen as speculation and not fact.

Opinion: Assuming this is true, or really even close to it, we could be in for a big return for Reigns. At the end of the day, Reigns is as big of a star as there is in WWE at the moment and it would be a big deal to have him back. That very well should make for a big showdown with Rollins, which would be a long time coming. Hopefully it doesn’t take long, as at least the story has been set up well.
