That’s a celebrity endorsement. If there is one thing that WWE loves to receive, it is attention from stars outside of the company. It is fairly rare for celebrities to be big wrestling fans but you find one every now and then. That can make for some interesting surprises, and that seems to be the case again as a pretty well known musician has some praise for a Monday Night Raw star.
Music legend MC Hammer has posted some tweets praising Naomi, including sending in some clips of her in the ring. One of the tweets says that Naomi has “elite skills” and another included applause emojis. The clips that Hammer includes are mainly from older matches, including one from Elimination Chamber 2017 when Naomi faced Alexa Bliss when Naomi won the SmackDown Women’s Title.
Naomi is currently participating in the women’s tag team division with partner Lana. The two have been teaming together since the beginning of the year and have unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Naomi has had more success as a singles wrestler, winning the SmackDown Women’s Title twice, as well as the 2018 Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal.

Opinion: I think we can call this the most surprising celebrity endorsement for the last little while. Who would have thought that Hammer would not only be a fan but also someone who knew a wrestler as specific as Naomi? I’m a little confused by the older clips though, as there is a lot of material from Naomi that is more recent than what Hammer sent out. Still though, it’s q pretty cool moment to see.
