I’d say he deserves a chance. In the wrestling world, or at least in WWE, everything revolves around WrestleMania. It is the biggest, be all and end all show of the year and nearly by definition, the main event is the most important match of the year. There are other spots on the show as well though, and a big match on that card can be a dream match. One wrestler has an idea for something like that.

There are very few wrestlers on the level of Rey Mysterio. He is the most successful luchador in American history and someone who is a legend in his own time. The things that he has done in the ring have inspired generations of wrestlers and he is still more than capable of having a great match today, even over thirty years into his career. It turns out that he has a match that he wants on the WrestleMania stage.

Mysterio was recently interviewed by Sportskeeda and talked about his dream WrestleMania opponent. When asked, Mysterio selected AJ Styles as the opponent that he wanted to face at an upcoming WrestleMania. Styles recently lost the United States Title to Mysterio on Monday Night Raw four weeks ago. There is no word on who either Mysterio or Styles will be facing at WrestleMania 36.

It worked on the smaller stage. Check out Mysterio vs. Styles for the US Title:

Opinion: What I like about this you could actually see it taking place. Mysterio vs. Styles is something that could take place at a WrestleMania and I’d rather hear about that than a match that is either not going to happen or is completely impossible. That makes things interesting because while it might not seem likely, it could happen, and that is making you wonder what could happen.

What do you see from these two at WrestleMania? Who will take the title from Mysterio? Let us know in the comments below.
