At least they were caught. The right look is one of the most important parts of a wrestler’s overall package. They have to be able to get attention drawn to themselves one way or another but it can often be easier said than done. Getting the right combination can be tricky, but in this case, someone’s signature look was literally stolen from them, along with some gold.
Back in October, then WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Rhea Ripley lost her back while in New Mexico for a live event. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, whoever took the bag then attempted to sell both the bag and the title on social media. Fans eventually figured out that the gear was Ripley’s, causing the person with the bag to stop responding. There is no word on if Ripley will be able to get her things back.
Ripley is a star when she gets the chance to be. Check out what she can do in the ring:
Opinion: This is one of those things that does happen every now and then but it is never a good thing to see. Whoever wound up with the bag took it from Ripley and then tried to make money off of it. I’m not sure if they took the bag on purpose or not, but trying to sell it is rather pathetic all things considered. Ripley seems to be doing fine, though it’s a shame she had to deal with this.
