Get your lawyers ready. There are a lot of moving parts to WWE. The company is a global giant with their hands in all kinds of things at once. With so many things going on, someone is not going to be happy with everything at once. It isn’t made any easier when WWE is a publicly traded company. That gives a lot of people a financial interest in the company and one such person is not happy.

One of the biggest stories from WWE over the last year and a half has been Vince McMahon deciding to relaunch the XFL. While McMahon created a new parent company to handle the decision and is personally financing the operation, there is going to be some sort of impact on WWE itself. With such a thing happening, a stockholder is wondering how the decision is impacting the company’s financial status.

According to Bloomberg Law, an Oklahoma stockholder has filed a lawsuit in an effort to find out what sort of WWE financial resources McMahon and other WWE executives used to relaunch the XFL. The lawsuit also accuses the WWE Board of Directors of not stopping McMahon from making decisions which could cause the company problems. There is no word on WWE’s response to the lawsuit.

There is a lot to cover in the XFL. Check out a big part of the announcement:

XFL Announcement Today: Team names and logo reveal

Opinion: Oh dear. I can’t imagine that almost anything that happens is going to slow down the launch of the XFL but this is something else that is going to cause it some headaches. McMahon is going to find a way to set things up and hopefully they can be successful. This seems like something where a financial settlement will calm things down, but you never know how far something like this can go.

Will this be a major issue? How bad could it go? Let us know in the comments below.
