Welcome back. There are a lot of people under the WWE umbrella and that means that some of them might have a hard time getting on television. It can be a problem one way or another because there is only so much that can be done with the limited amount of time available. Sometimes wrestlers come and go, which will often be noticed by fans when a wrestler disappears. That was the case earlier this year, but we had a return this week.

One of the more interesting stories this year was the SmackDown Hacker. Someone had been using a series of cameras to spy on the rest of the roster and at one point even used the technology to expose Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville’s deception of Otis and Mandy Rose. The Hacker’s identity was never revealed but there was a big hint about who it was going to be. That seems to have been completely dropped and now that seems to be a bit more certain.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Mustafa Ali made his return to the show, officially jumping over from SmackDown. Ali teamed with Cedric Alexander and Ricochet to defeat the Hurt Business. The match marks Ali’s first on television since the December 13 2019 SmackDown. Ali had been rumored to be the SmackDown Hacker, though this was never confirmed on television.

We’ve been missing a lot. Check out what Ali can do, both now and before:

Opinion: I’m not sure what the point was in dropping the Hacker deal but Ali has been someone entertaining for a long time and it’s great to see him back. There is a certain fire to his matches that you can’t script and it is always fun to watch Ali in the ring. I don’t see why he hasn’t wrestled in seven months but hopefully this is the start of something new for him.

What do you think of Ali? What will he do on Monday Night Raw? Let us know in the comments below.
