Any improvement in a storm. Things have been a little all over the place in the blue land as “Smackdown Live” hasn’t had the strongest audience as of late. The shows haven’t been the most well received and the viewership has been reflecting the downward trend. We’re coming up on “Fastlane 2018” and that means things need to turn around a little bit. So how did this week go?

According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew 2.613 million viewers. This is up 6.7% over last week’s 2.449 million viewers. Last week’s show was the lowest of 2018 and the lowest since October 31, 2017. This week’s episode was headlined by AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin in a non-title match.

Opinion: Well, any improvement over last week’s bad number is better than nothing so at least they’re going somewhere in the right direction. We’ve got a few more weeks to go before “Fastlane 2018” and hopefully things continue to go in the right direction. If nothing else, maybe we get to see some more Styles in the ring, which is never a bad way to go.
