Anything Raw can do they can do better. Over the course of the year, WWE has had issues with its audience and television ratings. The numbers went down hard in the spring and early summer but rebounded a bit in recent weeks. Now that the fall is starting to take effect, the question is how will things hold up.

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew a .73 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.32 million viewers. These numbers are down 9% and 6% from last week’s .8 rating and 2.467 million viewers. Both numbers are the show’s lowest since the June 13 episode, which drew a .63 rating and 2.072 million.

Opinion: But hey, let’s ignore the fact that Jinder Mahal was featured in this week’s preview right? The bigger problem here was of course the start of the NBA season, which featured some big time games. However, Mahal making an announcement didn’t prove to be any kind of draw, which has been the case for anything he’s done in his title reign to date.
