AEW’s Chris Jericho has announced that he will be starring in “Country Hearts”, a new movie from the UpTV network. According to Variety, the movie will premiere at some point this fall and a sequel has already been greenlit, though it is not clear if Jericho will be involved. Jericho has acted infrequently since 2006, both in television and in films. There is no word on how the movie will interfere with Jericho’s AEW appearances.

Opinion: It’s no surprise that Jericho is getting to do something like this as it suits him well. Jericho has done well enough in acting over the years and if it is something he still wants to do, why not see what he can get out of it?
