He switched. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world today and occasionally some of them need something to freshen things up a bit. Sometimes the best way to do this is to switch them to either the good side or the bad side, especially in a surprise moment. That was the case this weekend, as a major turn took place this weekend at the end of a rather important show.

The main event of this weekend’s AEW Double Or Nothing saw the Blackpool Combat Club facing the Elite in an Anarchy In The Arena match. Late in the match, Konosuke Takeshita interfered and attacked Kenny Omega, helping the Club pick up the win. Commentary made it clear that they were not clear if Takeshita, or Don Callis, who helped convince Takeshita to turn on Omega, had officially joined the Club.
Takeshita is a big star no matter what. Check out what he has been doing in AEW:
Opinion: This is the kind of change that has to be done at some point and AEW has built up the idea of Takeshita turning on the Elite and joining Callis for a long time now. This should open up more than a few doors for everyone involved and now I’m curious to see where things go. Takeshita has turned into quite the star during his time in AEW and has earned this spot, so well done on finally getting there.
