It Shows: WWE SmackDown Star Reportedly Disliked Backstage

He’s on the list. With so many wrestlers in WWE, it makes sense that not all of them are going to be popular behind the scenes. At one point or another, someone is going to get in trouble and that can take a long time to end. You can often see this play out with the wrestler on television, as one issue can lead to a series of problems on camera. That appears to be taking place again.

Last week’s SmackDown featured a tag team gauntlet match for a future shot at the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. Hit Row, comprised of Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis were involved but were eliminated in less than thirty seconds. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the quick elimination may be due to Dolla not being popular backstage. Dolla has had reported backstage issues since originally coming to the main roster in 2021.

Opinion: I’m not sure how much doubt there is about Hit Row having some backstage issues backstage, as the team has barely done anything since their return. At the end of the day, it does not seem like things are going well for them in any way right now. Hit Row hasn’t been the same without Swerve Strickland and I don’t know how much better things are going to get for them anytime soon.
