She's Mad: Former AEW Star Threatens To Come After Rhea Ripley (It's Personal)

That’s a threat. There are a bunch of couples in wrestling and some of them involve a pair of wrestlers who occasionally get in the ring together. These couples do not always work together though and it can make things feel even more special when they do get to work on the same show. Now the wife of a prominent wrestler and former wrestling personality is teasing getting involved again.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes was a guest on MizTV, where he was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley. During their interaction, Mysterio hid behind Ripley, causing Rhodes to back away. After the segment, Rhodes’ wife Brandi Rhodes sent out a tweet saying “Papa won’t hit Mami…but Mommy will”, suggesting that she could appear in WWE. Brandi made a cameo appearance at WrestleMania 39 but has not wrestled since January 2022.

Opinion: I’m not sure what this might mean but it could be very interesting to see Brandi show up, just for the sake of some crazy brawl with Ripley. If nothing else, the two of them could have a lot of fun together and that is something that could go in a lot of directions. At the very least, just the tease of the idea could open up some options and that has me interested enough.
