Earlier this month at AEW Full Gear, Jamie Hayter defeated Toni Storm to become the new AEW Interim Women’s Champion, later promoted to full champion. During an interview with Busted Open Radio before the event, Britt Baker, Hayter’s on-screen associate, revealed that she originally recommended Hayter to AEW President Tony Khan. Baker said that she faced Hayter in a dive bar in the UK and the two have been friends ever since. Baker also described herself as Hayter’s #1 fan.

The two have a nice history together. Check out the two of them together in AEW:

Opinion: That is quite the find for Baker and it is the kind of recommendation that can help AEW out a lot. If someone in AEW knows who else can be brought in to the company, it might be worth a shot. AEW has put together a unique roster and that is what they have done again by bringing in someone as talented as Hayter. It makes you wonder not only who else is out there, but also who might know they are there.
