Homecoming with a twist. There are a lot of talented wrestlers in the world but not all of them get the chance to break out as a star on the big stage. That can be more than a bit disappointing if someone is that good in the ring, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. The good thing is there are other roles for them to play in wrestling and now another star is getting a second chance in a new spot.

Former NXT and AEW star Santana Garrett has announced that she has returned to WWE as a Performance Center training. Garrett sent out a tweet showing herself in a Performance Center shirt while also sporting blonde hair rather than her usual black or brown. In addition to NXT and AEW, Garrett has wrestled for Impact Wrestling and around the independent circuit.

Opinion: Well good for her. Garrett is someone who never really got a chance to be the big breakout star in NXT or AEW so maybe this is the better gig for her. She is certainly talented and can do a lot of things in the ring, so perhaps she can teach the younger generation some of those skills. If nothing else, this might be a longer term gig for her and that is always nice to see.

What do you think of Garrett? How will she do in her new role? Let us know in the comments below.
