She’s Back (Kind Of): WWE Superstar Set For Special International Independent Event

Special attraction. While WWE gets most of the attention, there are all kinds of quality wrestling promotions around the world. Some of these promotions have developed quite the talented group of wrestlers, some of whom have gone on to appear on the bigger stages. Now one of those stars is making a one off return to her former stomping grounds on the international stage.

Over The Top Wrestling has announced that WWE Superstar Lyra Valkyria will be making a special return to the promotion at their event in Dublin, Ireland on December 21. Valkyria wrestled for Over The Top for years, last appearing in 2019. There is no word on what Valkyria will be doing on the show. WWE has worked with Over The Top, with Finn Balor and JD McDonagh appearing there earlier this year.

Opinion: This is something that WWE has been doing more frequently lately and that is a great thing to see. WWE has so many people on its roster that it is difficult to find something for all of them to do. Occasionally there is the chance for them to do something elsewhere and that is what we are seeing again here. It would be nice to have Valkyria back on WWE TV soon, but this is a special thing for her to do for now.
