They want in? WWE is an international wrestling promotion which runs shows all over the world at various points throughout the year. This can be rather difficult as there are already other promotions in different countries that WWE has to work with to draw interest. Occasionally WWE will work with those other promotions and now they are interested in doing so again.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Getting Well Soon: Update On Rey Mysterio’s WWE Return, Target To Get Back In The Ring

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE it interested in working with Stardom, the all women’s wrestling promotion, in Japan. There is currently no deal finalized between the two companies and it is not clear how far along any discussions have gotten. This comes after NXT star Charlie Dempsey was announced as an upcoming challenger for the All Japan Triple Crown Title. WWE also allowed Shinsuke Nakamura to work a show with Pro Wrestling NOAH earlier this year.

Opinion: This is something WWE has been doing as of late and it makes things all the more interesting. I’m curious to see how such a deal would go, assuming anything happens, as Stardom has quite the reputation for high level women’s wrestling. Some of their stars against WWE’s women’s division could go in a few directions and we could be seeing some great combinations.
