They’re in. While a wrestling promotion might run all kinds of events over the course of a year, there are some which are more important than the rest. It can be a big deal when one of those shows comes up, which is what we are seeing in AEW with next month’s All In. Now we have two of the biggest matches on the show officially set after two other matches took place.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Violent, Bloody Betrayal Ends This Week’s AEW Dynamite In Major Surprise
This week’s AEW Dynamite featured the finals of the Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments, with the winners receiving title shots at All In. First, Bryan Danielson defeated Hangman Page, earning a shot at AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. Later, in the show’s main event, Mariah May defeated Willow Nightingale, setting up May’s title shot against Toni Storm, who she would betray to end the show. All In will be held in London at Wembley Stadium on August 25.
This should be good. Check out how we got here plus some of last year’s All In:
Opinion: That is the kind of show that you need, as this sets up a pair of major matches, including All In’s possible main event. You do not see that kind of development in a single night that often, but it also gives the matches that much more time to build. We have about a month and a half to go before All In and now we should be in for some good build up to the bigger matches.
