Over the weekend, reports and images from an NXT live event showed Cora Jade suffering an injury during her match against Lyra Valkyria. According to Dave Meltzer on Twitter, Jade suffered a torn ACL during the match. There is no word on how the injury took place or how long she will be out of action. Jade has only been back in action for just over a month after missing most of the second half of 2023.

Opinion: Dang that’s terrible to hear and unfortunately it seems to keep happening to women in NXT. I’m not sure what is causing that much but maybe they need to change things up a bit if this is the continuing result. Hopefully Jade gets back in the ring sooner than later, as it could be a very long time before we get to see her wrestling again otherwise.
