She would know. We are just over a week away from WrestleMania 39 and as tends to be the case, WWE is packing the show with as many stars as they can. This includes a variety of legends, including Trish Stratus, who is coming out of retirement to take part in a six woman tag. That has fans wondering if this is anything more than a one off match, and now Stratus is telling us more.

Stratus spoke to SHAK Wrestling and said that she cannot be a full time wrestler at the moment due to her other commitments. In addition to wrestling, Stratus cited her businesses, children and appearances on Canada’s Got Talent as other things that take away time from her wrestling career. Stratus did not close the door on wrestling more though, saying “let’s get to WrestleMania and see what happens.” Stratus, 47, last wrestled at Summerslam 2019 and is scheduled to team with Lita and Becky Lynch against Damage Ctrl.
She is a legend. Check out some of Stratus’ time in WWE:
Opinion: This might be the best thing for Stratus, whose legacy is more than set. Having her back full time might not go as well as these short term appearances. While there are rumors of her sticking around in a very different role, I’m not sure how well it would work. As she said, let’s get through WrestleMania and see where things go from there, as that could be quite the turning point.
What do you think of Stratus’ return? Who would you like to see her face? Let us know in the comments below.
