It would be big. Wrestling fans today have access to more content than they ever could have dreamed possible. The rise of streaming services allows fans to see all kinds of wrestling from around the world with ease and that can make things a lot easier. It also leaves some fans wondering where to start and now that decision might be getting even more complicated.

According to Bloomberg, Tony Khan and AEW are considering launching their own streaming service. The service would be through Warner Brothers Discovery, which broadcasts AEW Dynamite and Rampage. There is no word on what other kinds of content could be available on the service or if it would be a stand alone option. There have been rumors of an AEW streaming service for over a year, with speculation over it joining another existing service or starting a new one.

The company has the content. Check out some of what might be seen:

Opinion: This is something that entirely depends on the details, as the price, content availability and location of the service would all play roles. If this is something added into another service or perhaps as a bonus cost to one, it could work out, but asking fans to pay more for AEW’s four year catalog plus whatever else is added in (likely Ring Of Honor) is not going to go well. Rebranding Honor Club might be their best bet, but it is far too early to know anything about that yet.
