For The Second Time: Controversial AEW Name Gone From The Company Again

Yes, again. There are all kinds of talented people working for AEW and a lot of them do not even wrestle regularly. Instead, several of them are tasked with trying to make the in-ring product better from the sidelines. These would be the producers or agents that you see in other promotions, but now one of them has been let go from the company, somehow for the second time.

According to PWInsider.com, Ace Steele has been let go from his producer role in AEW for the second time. This comes less than a week after CM Punk, who was trained by Steele, was fired after an incident at All In. Steele was involved in the Brawl Out backstage altercation at All In 2022 and was let go from the company as a result, only to be brought back months later. Punk was rumored to have demanded Steele’s return before Punk himself would return to AEW TV.

They’ve worked with steel before. Check out some cage matches in AEW (yes this is a stretch):

Opinion: I can’t fathom that this is anything close to a surprise as Punk has basically been scrubbed from the company in short order. That would include people who are here because of Punk, which would certainly be the case with Steele. I’m not entirely sure how much Steele added to AEW, but it’s kind of sad to see him losing his job after someone else gets fired.
