That’s a tease. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers around the world who do not wrestle for either WWE or AEW. Those promotions are always on the lookout for more talent though and it and be a huge deal when one of them joins up with one of the big promotions. While it is not confirmed, it seems that one of the more prominent names from outside of those promotions might be on their way in.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Here He Comes? WWE Seemingly Drops References To Brock Lesnar On Monday Night Raw

Over the last several months, NXT and TNA Wrestling have been involved in a cross promotional story, with wrestlers from both companies appearing for the other. This has included Joe Hendry, who headlined NXT No Mercy earlier this year. This week, a fan posted on Twitter that Hendry had “fell off the radar”. Hendry responded, saying “kinda crazy how poorly that tweet will age in about 4 months”. According to ITRWrestling.com, while not confirmed, this could be a reference to Hendry appearing in the Royal Rumble, which will take place in about three and a half months. This is NOT confirmed whatsoever at the moment.

Hendry has made an impact in WWE before. Check out his appearances in NXT:

Opinion: While I’m not sure this is going to be a Royal Rumble appearance, it certainly feels like something that could happen. Hendry getting to do his entrance in an NFL size stadium with 40,000 or so fans singing along could be an incredible moment, though there is always the chance that it is not the situation whatsoever. Either way, it is nice that Hendry seems to have an idea in mind, as those tend to go rather well.
