Can you blame them? The Coronavirus pandemic has caused all kinds of changes to the wrestling industry, with the lack of fans in attendance being the biggest. Some promotions have started to bring them back in small increments and some in even bigger portions, but WWE has only had fans at two events over the last thirteen and a half months. That is very hard to take, and it makes sense that the wrestlers may not be agreeing with the idea.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, most of the WWE roster believes that the company is ready to have live fans back immediately. This comes after UFC 261 took place in front of a full house over the weekend. There are few who think WWE is ready for a full capacity crowd every week, but most of the wrestlers think fans could be back in some form. WWE is not planning on having any fans until at least the second half of the year at the very earliest.

Opinion: It’s kind of hard to argue against the logic here as almost every major sport is having fans back in some form, albeit in varying capacities around the country. With the vaccinations rolling out around the country in fairly strong numbers, things are getting closer and closer to returning to normal. I don’t know if WWE is hesitant to have a limited number of fans due to how it would look on television or something else, but it is almost hard to imagine waiting several more months before bringing fans back. The fans are already back elsewhere, but not in WWE, and that is a weird situation.

Is WWE ready to have fans back? When will they be back? Let us know in the comments below.
