Rumor: What’s On Tap For This Year’s Summerslam?

We’re a few steps closer. With Summerslam six weeks away, one of the funnest things a fan can do is guess what the card will be. There are several matches that you can probably pencil in from here, but there are a few more that might change as things move forward. Since Extreme Rules is still coming up in a week, we still need to know what might be coming. As luck would have it, we might have had a bit of the card spoiled already.

Ringsidenews.com has compiled a list of matches that are currently rumored for the upcoming Summerslam 2018 card. None of these have been announced yet and are only rumored or being considered. Several of them have had seeds planted but others have yet to even be hinted at. Of course these are all just rumors at this point and are in no way guaranteed to be taking place. Here is the current list:

Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar(c) vs. Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley

WWE Championship
AJ Styles(c) vs. Samoa Joe

Raw Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss(c) vs. Ronda Rousey

John Cena vs. Undertaker

Daniel Bryan vs. Kane or The Miz

Sasha Banks vs. Bayley

Opinion: This isn’t the most surprising card in the world and you could probably guess several of the matches already. The Cena vs. Undertaker match is rather surprising though and while I’m not 100% sure I believe it’s happening, I’m even less sure that I want to see it. Either way, Summerslam is going to be huge like it always is and with the amount of talent on the roster, this could be a big one.
