You had to see something like that coming. There is no more violent match in WWE (assuming they don’t go too far with it) in WWE than Hell in a Cell. The idea is to beat your opponent to pure oblivion and be the only person to survive. The match is violent by definition and that can cause some problems. As it turns out, there were a few injuries coming out of the matches.
According to Post Wrestling, both Sasha Banks and Bray Wyatt were injured during their Cell matches and are not currently medically cleared to compete. At the moment, there is no word on how long the two of them will be out or how serious their injuries are. Neither of them appeared on Monday Night Raw, though both of them were mentioned with highlights of their losses being show.
They were both in some fights on Sunday. Check out their respective matches:
Opinion: You had to expect something like this as injuries are just going to happen in the more violent matches like these. In Wyatt’s case though, it makes a lot of sense to have Wyatt off of Monday Night Raw as there is no reason to have him around when he was destroyed that badly and was in a match that was so reviled. Just let him sit out for a bit and hope that they can salvage some of his interest from the crowd.
What will be next for Banks? Can Wyatt recover from his match on Sunday? Let us know in the comments below.
