Maybe next time. WWE has all kinds of television time to fill in and there are only so many ways to cover everything. Sometimes you need to bring in someone new to mix things up a bit and that can make for some great moments. There is always value there, even if it is someone you already know getting a change of scenery. We were almost ready to see that this week but it did not quite go as planned.
According to Ringsidenews.com, Reckoning, formerly known as Mia Yim, was scheduled to make her SmackDown debut but the plans were pushed back by another week. There is no word on what is planned for Reckoning, who is moving over from Monday Night Raw after splitting from Retribution. WWE has yet to announce that Reckoning has been moved to SmackDown.
Reckoning has done rather well when given the chance. Check out her time in WWE and NXT:
Opinion: I’m not sure why Reckoning was held off but if things go well, she can be back as Mia Yim. Reckoning was never the best name in the first place so hopefully we get a bit of an upgrade. Let her go by the name that people are going to remember instead of messing with what was already working. The division could use someone as good as her so this could be a nice move.
What do you expect from Reckoning? Should WWE change her name? Let us know in the comments below.
