It really does fit. With “Wrestlemania XXXIII” less than three weeks away, the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 is starting to take shape. We already know most of the group with Kurt Angle, the Rock N Roll Express, Teddy Long, Beth Phoenix, Diamond Dallas Page and Rick Rude. Now though, we might have another name.

According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, William Regal will be announced for the WWE Hall of Fame at some point this week, which likely means tonight on “Monday Night Raw”. Regal has been the General Manager of “NXT” for several years after a long career with multiple title wins in both WWE and WCW.

Opinion: This is one that might not make sense when you first think about it but the more thought you put into it, the more appropriate this is. Regal has been around in mainstream wrestling for over twenty five years and is one of the best performers you’ll ever see. Just because you’re not a World Champion, it doesn’t mean that you’re not incredibly talented and worthy of praise.
