The power of positive pancakes pays! For the last few years, one of the few constants of WWE has been New Day. The trio has turned into a merchandising juggernaut who can seem to get things over by sheer force of willpower. This includes everything from a book to cereal to unicorns to pancakes (still not sure if I get that last lone). However, that’s as a team. What would happen if the team was split up though? Which one would be the biggest force? Well WWE seems to have someone in mind.

The New Day's holiday celebration is crashed by Rusev & English: SmackDown LIVE, Dec. 19, 2017

According to by way of, WWE is considering Big E. for a singles push, including a spot in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match. Last night’s SmackDown Live advertised a tag match next week between the Bar and New Day next week with the winning team getting a single spot in the ladder match. At the moment, two of the four SmackDown men’s spots have been taken by The Miz and Rusev.

Maybe they have a future in game shows? It worked once.

Opinion: This is interesting and the best option. Kofi Kingston has had a long singles run already and Xavier Woods doesn’t stick out as a top star. Big E. already had a very strong singles run in NXT and a hit and miss singles run in WWE. If you give him a chance with the New Day momentum and his natural charisma combined, there’s a good chance that he’ll have some excellent success on his own. The New Day doesn’t need to split up and can be there as a short term fall back option if the singles push fails.

Do you like the idea of a Big E. singles push? Will he be a success on his own? Let us know in the comments below.
