Not so fast. WWE runs major events almost every month, some of which are among the biggest wrestling events of the year. Several of these are annual events that are centered around the same concept matches every year. Under the company’s new regime, WWE has reportedly been moving away from such shows, but it seems that some possible changes will not be taking place.

According to Fightful Select, two rumored Money In The Bank related stories are not taking place. First up, there have been rumors of both Money In The Bank ladder matches being moved to WrestleMania, but several members of the WWE creative team have said that while possible, no such changes have been made. Second, reports of LA Knight being penciled in to win the men’s Money In The Bank latter match in 2023 have not been discussed. While Knight winning is not impossible, it is not being talked about right now.

These matches are often huge. Check out how Money In The Bank goes, plus what Knight can do in the ring:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think about this, as Money In The Bank is an idea that might not need to be its own premium live event, or perhaps to exist whatsoever. That being said, putting it at WrestleMania does make some sense, if nothing else for the sake of getting more people on the WrestleMania cards. As for Knight, he could absolutely be a candidate to win the briefcase and might be in the future, but it seems to be too early to make such a decision.
