Maybe not? Vince McMahon’s return to WWE has shaken up just about everything in the company. McMahon is back to negotiate a sale of the company and that is going to chance the company’s future in a big way. At the same time, the question has become what else McMahon will be doing. This week we saw some speculation about just that, but it might have been jumping the gun.

Earlier this week, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful sent out a tweet saying that a WWE talent had said they “believed” McMahon had returned to the WWE creative team, though this was never confirmed. Sapp sent out another tweet later in the day, saying that other sources have said that the original statement was “unfounded”. WWE has been adamant about the fact that McMahon has no intentions of returning to WWE creative and is only interested in selling the company.

McMahon still looms over the company. Check out some of his time there:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that has a lot of people, apparently including some inside WWE, worried, as McMahon returning to the creative side of the company does not seem to be something many want. McMahon’s last few years in creative were not the most well received and the new regime has been quite the change of pace. Maybe he won’t return, but it isn’t going to stop the spectre from hanging over the company.
What do you think of McMahon’s recent years in creative? Do you think he will be back there eventually? Let us know in the comments below.
