Not so fast. Wrestlers come from all different kinds of backgrounds, many of which are from various sports. You will occasionally see a major name coming into the industry and they often have quite the head start on some other stars. Every so often you will see one of those stars heading back into their previous sport, but that is not the case again with a current WWE star.

In recent weeks, news has broken that Ronda Rousey is set to leave WWE and has a hard, yet unknown, departure date. Earlier this week, UFC fighter Chelsea Chandler said that she had heard Rousey was returning to the UFC. However, mixed martial arts journalist Ariel Helwani tweeted that Rousey is not returning to the UFC and there is no truth to the rumor. Rousey last fought in the UFC in December 2016.

Ronda Rousey is not considering a UFC comeback, I’m told.

Rousey has done quite well in WWE. Check out her time in wrestling:
Opinion: Rousey returning to the UFC is interesting but at the same time, it might not be what we are going to be seeing at the moment. I’m not sure what she is going to be doing after she leaves WWE, but at least she seems to be getting out on her own terms. Her legacy in both mixed martial arts and wrestling are set, so good for her for getting to do something else.
