Not so fast. There are all kinds of stories in wrestling every day and on occasion there are things that are reported that do not wind up taking place. It might be due to an inaccurate report or someone wanting to make a point of their own, but there are times when things are inaccurate. That appears to be the case again, at last from the source that would know about this the best.

Earlier this week, a rumor began to circulate that WWE held a meeting where an announcement was made that WWE would be moving its Performance Center training facility from Orlando, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada. According to Fightful Select, WWE is pushing back on the rumor, saying that while Las Vegas was mentioned in the meeting, it was in the context of WWE possibly having a presence in Las Vegas in the future. There is no word on when WWE will begin doing anything in the city, if they will at all.

Opinion: I’m not sure how the original idea came out but apparently there is nothing going on with the story. Maybe that changes down the line, but for now it does not seem to be happening. That makes a bit more sense, as it would be a lot to ask so many wrestlers and workers to move across the country so quickly. The Performance Center is a big deal and it would make sense for WWE to want to keep things the way they are.
