Maybe not. Injuries are one of the few universal problems for any wrestler as there is no way to know how someone is going to be put onto the injured list. You can see all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them might even surprise you because it might not be the most obvious. This time though, it is something people thought they saw which never actually happened.

On Thursday, Wrestling Observer Radio reported that AEW’s Ricky Starks had suffered a knee injury and was being checked out as he was being checked for a neck injury. However, Starks responded to the report almost immediately, saying that it was inaccurate and that there was nothing wrong with his knees. However, Starks has a slightly bigger medical issues to deal with at the moment.

Earlier this week, a report came out saying that Starks had suffered a fractured neck during a recent match against Hangman Page. Starks landed on his head while trying to backflip out of a German suplex, causing the injury in the process. As a result, Starks is likely to miss about three months. Starks will not require surgery and will be able to remain on television while recovering.

Starks is worth waiting on. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: That’s a relief as Starks has already had enough bad news this week. Hopefully everything winds up working out with the neck injury, as that is already pretty serious. A knee is the kind of thing that could take a lot longer to heal if things are worse than they seem, but thankfully that does not seem to be the case here. Starks can be a big deal when he gets back in the ring, because the talent is certainly there.
