There’s a reason for that. WWE has a lot going on at once and that can make it a little difficult to keep track of everyone in the company. There are different things that take place every week and sometimes what you see on television might not make sense. Those issues can be resolved later and that is the case again, as we now know why someone recently missed one of the biggest matches of their career.

This week’s SmackDown featured Toxic Attraction defeating Natalya and Sonya Deville in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title tournament. Toxic Attraction took the place of Zoey Stark, who was injured, and Nikkita Lyons, who was announced as being “medically unavailable”. According to F4WOnline.com, Lyons did not take part in the match because she is not vaccinated against the Covid-19 and was not allowed into Canada. Lyons had appeared on WWE TV to cut a promo hyping up the match in advance. WWE reportedly did not know that Lyons was unvaccinated.

Opinion: This is one of those things that does change the situation, though it is a bit odd to see that WWE didn’t know Lyons’ status, knowing that the shows would be taking place in Canada. Either way, Toxic Attraction is a better fit for the spot anyway as a regular team, though Lyons and Stark might be able to get another shot down the line. For now though, things did not work out and that is sad to see.

What do you think of Lyons? Will she get a chance on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
