It’s on. There are all kinds of stipulations that can accompany a match and if it comes at the end of a violent feud, things can get all the more interesting. Occasionally wrestlers need to have something set up that lets them get out some more of their aggression and it can make for a big showdown. We now have another one set for a rather big upcoming event.

Earlier this month at Payback, Seth Rollins successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. Following the match, Nakamura attacked Rollins again, prompting Rollins to request a rematch. Nakamura finally accepted this week on Monday Night Raw, challenging Rollins to a Last Man Standing match at Fastlane, with Rollins accepting. Fastlane takes place on October 7 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Opinion: This makes sense as they had a match where Rollins won but Nakamura wasn’t done, so they’ll up the ante a bit. Rollins’ bad back has been a focal point leading into the show and the violent stipulation could make things more interesting. It’s a good idea to go this way, as is actually having something else added to the Fastlane card. A title change is a possibility and that is nice to see after a fairly long feud.
