That’s not good. The wrestling world was rocked earlier this year when Vince McMahon was accused of a string of sexual misconduct against a former WWE employee. The lawsuit alleged that others were involved in some of the acts, with talk of a culture that allowed such a thing to happen. Now a former WWE Superstar is accusing one of her co-workers of being part of a similar culture.

During an interview with NewsNation, Ronda Rousey spoke about an incident where she was talking with Bruce Prichard when Drew Gulak walked past her and pulled the string of her sweatpants while not saying anything to her. Rousey said no one seemed to think anything of it, as it was treated as just something that happened. She went on to wonder what happened when there was no one else around in a more private location. Rousey went on to say that she confronted Gulak about his actions and said Gulak “backpedaled”, saying he was glad Rousey said something to him. Gulak has responded to the allegations on twitter, saying he was attempting to shake her hands and touched the string by mistake. Gulak also said that he apologized for the incident.
Backstage at a WWE event in 2022, I saw Ronda talking with a group in the hallway. I stopped to say hi and shake all their hands, and in an attempt to shake her hand, I accidentally touched her drawstring. Complete accident, and one that I had apologized to her for the mishap.

Rousey was a beast during her time in WWE. Check out some of her efforts:
Opinion: Those are two rather different explanations for what happened. Gulak does seem to be apologizing for what happened, but at the end of the day, the idea of this sounding like a normal situation is not good. Hopefully that starts to change, but it does make you wonder what else has happened when no one saw it. Rousey has every right to not feel comfortable with something like that and she is absolutely right to mention that it happened.
