His Role: The Rock Not Likely To Be Around WWE As Often After WrestleMania

That could be a problem. There are all kinds of stars in the wrestling world today but only a few of them have become huge names outside of the industry. Those names are few and far between but it can mean a lot when one of them comes back to wrestling, even for a short time. We are seeing this take place at the moment, but now we know when that moment will be ending.

The Rock is currently appearing semi-regularly for WWE and is currently scheduled to team with Roman Reigns to face Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes on Night One of WrestleMania. According to PWInsider.com, the Rock will be filming his new movie, “The Smashing Machine” starting on May 1. This will likely mean that the Rock will not be appearing for WWE regularly, if at all, for several months.

Opinion: This is hardly some big surprise as you knew that Rock wasn’t going to be sticking around permanently. He is a star in wrestling but he is a bigger deal in Hollywood, which will be getting more of his time. It should be interesting to see how Rock balances those two things, though him being on the WWE Board Of Directors should mean that he is going to be around WWE at least a good bit.
