That would be a promotion. WWE has a unique advantage over other promotions with its in-house developmental system with NXT. The show allows WWE to build up its future wrestlers on the way to the main roster while giving them some national television exposure. One of the stars in NXT has caught WWE’s attention, to the point where he may be main roster bound.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: On A Break: Popular WWE Superstar Reportedly Taking Time Off

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has talked about promoting Tyler Bate from NXT to the main roster, though an official decision has not yet been made. Bate is a former two time NXT United Kingdom Champion and a former NXT Tag Team Champion. He is set to participate in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge this coming weekend at NXT Deadline.

Bate is a talented star. Check out what might be coming to the main roster:

Opinion: I could go for seeing Bate moving up to the main roster, as he is one of the more established names in WWE. He could make an impact on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown if given the chance and that is a chance he has earned in NXT. If nothing else, WWE could use some fresh blood on the main roster and Bate very well may be the person who can offer just that.

What do you think of the idea? How would Bate do on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
