Riddle Him That? Possible Reason For Matt Riddle’s Recent WWE Woes

That’s a reason. There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster but some of them have quite the collection of issues that go along with them. On occasions, these issues can cause trouble for their careers and little can be done to fix it. That might be the case again for a current Monday Night Raw star, who is in the middle of one of the worst runs of his WWE career.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Matt Riddle lost to Ludwig Kaiser. The loss continues a losing streak for Riddle, who previously defeated Kaiser on Monday Night Raw in June. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, one of the reasons for Riddle’s losses has been his personal life issues, as Riddle “seems to get in trouble too often”. As a result, Riddle is not expected to be “the guy they build around”, with Meltzer thinking that the loss to Kaiser means Riddle is lower than previously believed.

Opinion: Assuming this is the case, it is hard to argue with WWE’s logic. If Riddle has this many issues, there is a real chance that they might need to pull the plug on him in a hurry. If there is nothing invested in him in the first place, pulling the plug is not going to matter in the slightest. Riddle is a very talented star, but that might not be enough to overcome everything that happens elsewhere.
