Ric Flair is appearing in local commercials for a chain of used car dealerships.

Flair can now be seen as a stereotypical used car salesman in an ad for USAuto Sales, which operates in and around Atlanta, Georgia and parts of South Carolina. The idea is Flair portrays your standard huckster of a car salesman but USAuto Sales has a staff of courteous, professional workers who want what’s best for you. The commercial can be seen on YouTube. It’s not like Flair isn’t still in shape.

This is about as perfect of a role as you’re going to get for Flair and there’s not a thing wrong with it. Flair is a famous enough name in the south that people will know who he is and even if they don’t, he plays the role well enough that it gets the point across. There’s nothing wrong with a celebrity making an appearance like this and if he can make a little cash off of it, good for him.
