It’s a win/win/win. This past weekend was one of the busiest stretches in recent wrestling memory. The weekend included AEW’s Fight For The Fallen, WWE’s Extreme Rules and multiple New Japan G1 Climax shows, but most interesting of them all might have been Evolve’s Tenth Anniversary Show. The event included various WWE talent, but what did WWE think of the show?

According to PWInsider, WWE was very pleased with how the Evolve event came off and there is a chance that the company could be used as more WWE Network programming, either as counter programming for AEW or just programming on its own in the future. The event was held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and featured various stars from Evolve’s past, who now wrestle in WWE. There were also NXT names who are regular Evolve performers.

There was a lot going on. Check out one of the bigger surprises from Saturday night:

Opinion: This is one of those things that is good for everyone involved. Now only do the fans get a fun show, but WWE gets some extra content without having to invest much into it. At the same time, Evolve gets the best benefit of them all, with a show that makes them feel much more important while also giving them more exposure than ever. It’s a win for everyone involved and that’s a good sign.
