Return Special? Former WWE Superstar Believed To Be Returning After Nearly Two Year Absence

Reunion special? There are all kinds of wrestlers throughout the industry and not all of them work for WWE or AEW. At the same time, some of those wrestlers might be former WWE Superstars who have left the company for one reason or another. Occasionally those wrestlers will return to WWE later on down the road and that might be the case again in the near future.

According to Fightful Select, current TNA Wrestling Knockouts Champion Trinity, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, is expected to leave TNA in the near future and rejoin WWE. It is not clear when Trinity’s contract will expire, though she is scheduled to defend her title at Hard To Kill on January 13. Sources in both companies believe that the move is coming, with a WWE source saying “something huge would have to happen” for it not to take place. Trinity, along with Sasha Banks, walked out on WWE in May 2022.

Opinion: I can’t say this is the biggest surprise as Trinity is more than talented enough to get back into WWE and almost seems to have been waiting on everything to blow over. The act that her husband, Jimmy Uso, works for WWE probably makes things that much easier. I could go for having her back in WWE, as she could add quite a bit to WWE the second she is back.
