That’s where they’re going. Over the last month and a half, WWE has been dealing with issues caused by the group known as Retribution. The group of masked wrestlers have invaded Monday Night Raw over and over and caused quite a bit of chaos. That is the kind of thing that is going to get some attention and it is going to get some rather high level attention in the coming months.

This week on Monday Night Raw, the five core members of Retribution appeared in the ring to start the show. Most of them unmasked, at least to a certain extent, revealing their identities as former NXT stars. The team would have a match later in the night and the rest of the team came into the ring to attack the Hurt Business, triggering a major brawl to end the show. It turns out that this may not be the only time the team is in a big group fight.

According to PWInsider.com, Retribution is being considered for the main event of Survivor Series. The event is often built around a team elimination tag. There is no word on how many matches Retribution may be involved in, as the main five members of the team is comprised of three men and two women. There has never been a full mixed tag Survivor Series match.

The team changed a lot this week. Check out Retribution’s big night:

Opinion: This is something that shouldn’t come as the biggest surprise as it fits in perfectly. Retribution has all of those extra members available and it wouldn’t be shocking to see some of them added to the main team to make a pair of Survivor Series teams. It feels a bit more natural than last year’s NXT invasion, though that is going to leave Retribution quite an act to follow.
