That can cause trouble. A wrestling company’s locker room is like a family in a lot of ways, as the wrestlers see each other so often and are in the same place for such a long time on any given night. While they will often get along well enough, there are going to be some instances where problems come up. Now a wrestler’s comments appear to have gotten him in some hot water.
Last Saturday, Braun Strowman defeated Omos at WWE Crown Jewel. Following the match, Strowman took to Twitter to mock wrestlers he described as “flippy floppers” as well as the concept of star ratings. According to Fightful Select, there is backstage heat on Strowman in WWE, as his comments were seen as being immature. There is nothing to suggest that this is an angle or will become an angle.
Opinion: I can see how this might not go over so well as it is something that is only going to cause drama. Strowman is a very different style of wrestler who isn’t going to be including many flips, but that does not mean he is the only kind of wrestler out there. Some fans are very into the flips and high flying, and it isn’t going to make Strowman seem the most popular to say something like this.
