Renee Paquette And Tay Melo Go At It On Twitter After AEW Dynamite Spot

That’s getting personal. Wrestlers are incredibly unique people in a lot of ways, but at the same time, there are certain aspects of their lives that are just like everyone else. This includes their personal relationships, including their spouses. Sometimes the two collide a bit and that took place this week, with the spouses of two wrestlers having something to say to each other after a show.

The opening match of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Jon Moxley defeat Sammy Guevara. During the match, Anna Jay offered a distraction, allowing Guevara’s wife Tay Melo to kick Moxley low. Following the match, Moxley’s wife Renee Paquette (formerly known as Renee Young in WWE) took to Twitter, telling Melo to keep her cheap shoes off of her husband. Melo said she would be waiting for Paquette at Dynamite, while also saying that Moxley and Paquette’s daughter was cute. There is nothing to suggest that Paquette will be appearing for AEW anytime in the future.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can add a little spice to a story without actually leading anywhere. I can’t imagine Paquette is going to show up to fight Melo and I don’t think they are trying to suggest otherwise. What matters here is having some extra interest in a match and getting some people talking, which is what the two women are at least trying to do.
