The show is back? There have been all kinds of wrestling shows presented by WWE over the years, some of which have become iconic. These are the shows that can be brought back after a long time away and still have quite the impact. That is what WWE seems interested in doing again, as they are apparently bringing back one of their iconic shows for a special appearance.

According to Fightful Select, WWE has registered a trademark for Saturday Night’s Main Event, albeit for clothing and apparel rather than a television show. This comes as WWE is rumored to be airing a prime time special on NBC later this year, with Saturday Night’s Main Event being a possibility though not yet confirmed. Saturday Night’s Main Event originally aired on NBC during its initial run.

Opinion: While the show has not been confirmed, it certainly looks like we will be seeing it again. Saturday Night’s Main Event was one of the defining WWE series of the 80s and it would be cool to see it come back, assuming WWE puts some effort into it. Throw in Jesse Ventura seemingly being back in the WWE fold for a potential cameo and it is quite the interesting idea.
