I remember him! WWE is involved in quite a few activities around the world, several of which have nothing to do with wrestling. The company is known for its involvement with various charities, including sending stars to act as ambassadors for the events. That was the case again recently, and a missing WWE star was on hand for a special moment in a bit of a surprise.

Drew McIntyre was on hand as a WWE ambassador at the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, German. This marks McIntyre’s first WWE appearance since he lost in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 39 on April 1. McIntyre has since been reportedly at odds with WWE over creative differences and a contract dispute. There is no word on when he will be returning to television.

It would be nice to have him back. Check out what McIntyre can do in WWE:

Opinion: This might just be a one off appearance but hopefully it is the start of McIntyre’s return to WWE TV. McIntyre is a star and someone who could make a big difference if he is around. WWE could certainly use his star power and abilities, as you do not find someone with that kind of talent very often. If nothing else, having another former World Champion back in the fold will boost things up, and that can always be useful.

What do you think of McIntyre? Will he return to WWE TV? Let us know in the comments below.
